Just a lil update (I know I have been scarce to enter the blogosphere over the last week but I am trying to catch up) – I have an AWESOME opportunity for a SWEEEET Road Trip this weekend.
Thanks to a great friend (SHOUT OUT to Kristi D!!!) I have a ticket to this weekend’s most amazing rivalry basketball game – that’s right the BELOVED TAR HEELS vs. the durham dookies. Getting to be there live for great moments like the Danny Green Decimation of poor greggy paulus seen below.
Or maybe an opportunity to witness one of the most INCREDIBLE MOMENTS EVER in the UNC v dook history – such as the Stackhouse reverse dunk @ Cameron – in case you missed it then or have had some severe blunt trauma damage and cannot remember it then please watch the included instructional video on “how to send the announcers into complete euphoria while telling the home crowd very definitively to SHUT-IT”
So that’s right ladies and gentlemen – yours truly will have the extreme pleasure to be in BLUE HEAVEN (Dean Dome) for one of the most heated battles in the history of college basketball. I will be there LIVE to witness the final game of the regular season for both teams, a game that will decide the ACC Regular Season Champs – it will be Senior Day for Bobby Frasor, Danny Green, and oh yeah you guessed it PSYCHO-T Mr. Tyler Hansbrough. Man what an awesome day – I am getting even more pumped just writing about it.
So all you fellow Tar Heels out there – it is time to get up and get ready for an epic battle at the Smith Center – time to show those dookies whose house it is! Time to stake our claim to the top spot in the ACC, but as much as I hate dook I have to admit it isn’t gonna be easy. The Heels are going to have to be ready to rock and roll and Ty Lawson and Wayne Ellington and the rest of the gang are gonna have to bring their “A” games to bring this one home for the Seniors, but oh how I will enjoy it if they do!!!
So as much as I hope your weekend is great – I know that I am gonna enjoy my lil road trip. Not to mention getting to crash in Charlotte with some good friends and see their new lil boy (and try to convince him to be a fellow Tar Heel as well!!) Also getting to see some buddies in the awesome world of new church work – all this and a rocking ballgame – man it is gonna be sweet! Guess I’ll have some good stories to share next week – keep check!

Awesome! Glad you got to go. I caught the second half and thought about you. I figured you were yelling at the TV, but low and behold you were yelling at the actual players!
